A little about Cam first:

Okay, so I’m not one of those people that woke up one day and decided, “you know what, I think I’ll write a book today.” Who am I kidding, yes I am. However, I came to the decision because my fiancé was struggling with his MS, and sometimes when things that heavy are going on in your life, you need an outlet. So, that’s just what I did. I started with just writing poems, which turned into short stories, then what do you know…a whole book! Trust me, I’m no genius! But I feel you might enjoy some of the things I decided to put on paper. Some may think, “My goodness she’s got a foul mouth!” Especially anyone that knows me, but what can I say, I must’ve been a sailor in my past life!
Anyway, enjoy!

RA Winter’s Review: 4-Stars
Arousing Consequences: The Right Side of Wrong is an erotica series by Cam Johns.
Cam Johns really brings out the sex in this one.  We follow a young lady, after the death of her father who is living with a guy named Kevin, after a rather large ‘problem’, Karisma turns to her boss, Jackson and they start a relationship.
There’s a mystery in here, Jackson isn’t what he seems.  Kevin is being sought after by the FBI, but what is the reality behind the story?  You’ll have to read it to find out.
Cam has a nice writing style, the only issue I had was that I wanted more character description at the start. About chapter four, I realized that the author was very lax in the descriptions of the MC’s. Which, honestly, it doesn’t matter but usually this goes with the reader’s ability to imagine the characters. The sex, however, was very explicit.
If you like a lot of hot sex scenes, a slow building mystery then this book is for you.
Sherry Terry’s Review: 4-Stars
Overall, I enjoyed the story. The cover is beautiful with a lot of vibrant colors, and it gives the vibe of romance for me. I thought, for the most part, the writing was pretty solid, it could be a tad stronger but did not take away from my overall enjoyment of the story.
I liked the main character, Karisma right away. She’s smart and well-educated, starting a kick-butt new job. I thought Cam Johns did a great job with the research for Karisma’s job. Her position in the medical field rang true and was sprinkled into the story with the right amount of flare.
I feel the opposite from RA about the character descriptions. The cover art gave me a good feel for what Karisma looked like, and I love that it turned out to be an interracial couple.
There is a murder mystery, some intrigue, and some mystery mixed with hot characters. The sex scenes didn’t really do it for me. They were lacking emotion and the five senses that bring out my emotion. They kind of came off as more of a list of things the characters were doing with some dialog thrown in.
If you’re looking for a decent romance book, this is a good one.
